This is a wonderful fruity - sweet organic extra virgin olive oil produced by the Damian- Corchero Family who have been producing olive oil since 1868. The type of olive used is anzanilla which matures much earlier than the rest, (end of September). It is produced in Caceres (Extremadura). EL LAGAR DEL SOTO was voted, by the Ministry of Agriculture best organic olive oil in Spain in 2005, 500ml metal tins.

El Lagar del Soto has won gold again (this time with 2 stars) at this years Great Taste Awards. It also won gold in 2007 and 2009.
